SPIDER-MAN IN REVIEW - KINDA FUNNY (2021)
Leading into the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home at the end of 2021, Kinda Funny began a rewatch of every live-action Spider-Man movie, with rumours pointing to it being a multi-versal, crossover event. To play into the idea and build excitement with the rewatch, I pitched the idea of creating a brand new intro styled after the Sam Raimi films that was cut to the same pacing as our MCU In Review intro from earlier that year, with the two intersecting over time, eventually culminating in one big mashup between the two.
It was a cool project to get to work on and a ton of fun. Balancing how much to show in each step, figuring out what little changes or easter eggs I could throw in was an absolute blast. It's easily the densest intro I have worked on in terms of assets, with all versions of the MCU and Spider-Man intros requiring over 350GB of storage.

The evolution of the very first intro I created for Kinda Funny (2018's Into the Spider-Verse), to MCU In Review, through every iteration of the Spider-Man In Review Intro can be viewed here. See if you can spot Bino's appearance.
