FRIENDS PER SECOND (2023)
Friends Per Second is a biweekly video game podcast hosted by Jake Baldino (Gameranx), Lucy James (Gamespot/Giant Bomb), Jirard (The Completionist), and Skill Up.
For this project I worked with them to create a new graphics package built around their existing branding, including a new intro, new transitions, lower thirds, an end screen for credits on YouTube, and an end screen for social media breakouts.
This was my first time creating an entire graphics package for a group, having previously only done individual pieces, so having such a strong, simplistic look to work off of was really helpful. 4 colours, rectangles; it lent itself well to motion graphics. I wanted to make sure everything felt consistent, both in terms of look and the actual animations themselves.
This was a really cool opportunity for me. The four of them (and Jake Dekker) were all a pleasure to interact with.
